Vehicle description
1914 REO Runabout, "Barn Find". This was a well known car in the Northern California historic car scene in the 1960"s. Restored/built in 1964. Completed many "Runs". Sold in 1967, put in barn in La Honda in 1969, see "as found" picture. Bought from Estate and pulled from barn in 2016, after 48 years. Complete mechanical restoration, everything works. Hand crank to start, starts 1st time, every time. Seats and gas tank redone, the rest left "As Found". Fun to drive. Entered in the Carmel Mission Classic Car Show in 2016 and won one of the Peterson Automobile Museum"s trophy"s. Entered in the 2017 Quail A Motorsport Gathering.
