2003 Mazda Protege LX - 4D Sedan with 118,500 miles. Current daily driver. Great gas mileage, perfect for commuting. Power windows, power locks, 2-key fobs, everything works. A/C air conditioning blows cold. 5-speed manual transmission, perfect for those folks who enjoy driving. NOT Automatic. Exterior shows its 18-yr old age with paint imperfections, chips, etc., but no impact on driving. Front bumper shows the worse. Clean interior with vinyl / leatherette seat covers over clean cloth interior. Aftermarket radio with usb input for playing tunes from your iPhone or Android phone. All lights, electronics, gauges, cruise-control work as intended.
I"ve owned since 2014 and 44,000 miles. Oil changed every 3-5k miles. Never had to add oil between changes. A few squeaks and rattles with an 18-yr vehicle. Serpentine belt squeaks upon start-up occasionally, but disappears after a few minutes. No check engine light. Current Texas inspection through 6/22. Sticker never installed on windshield in case new owner wishes to replace, as windshield is cracked. Crack there for +2-yrs, but never bothered me enough to replace. Only selling because my pre-ordered 2021 Ford Bronco arrived. Otherwise, I would have continued driving for another few years. Avoid high used car prices and buy a cheap daily driver. Clean Texas TX title. Mazdas are known for cheap reliability. No warranty. Sold as-is.
