Vehicle description
OVER 200 ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. This 2008 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG wagon is finished in Pewter/Cubanite Metallic (723) over Cashmere/Amaretta (854) AMG Premium Nappa leather and is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission with “Manual Mode”. Equipment includes Premium II Package, 18″ AMG wheels, AMG 10-way power adjustable heated and active-ventilated front seats w/position memory, COMAND with DVD navigation, bi-xenon headlamps w/active curvelight, cornering foglamps, Keyless-Go, optional Burl Walnut (W60) interior trim, third row seating and much more. This AMG station wagon was originally sold new by Napleton’s Autowerk’s in Loves Park, IL on November 2nd, 2007 for $94,530 with options according to the original window sticker. The vehicle remained with the original owner until October 2013 whereupon it resided in California and Arizona. Recent service includes new front air struts, new fuel pump assembly, housing and seal(s), new rear brake pads & rotors, as well as new transmission and engine mounts. Now showing 98k miles, this E63 AMG wagon is offered for sale in Georgia with the original window sticker, two keys, service records, dealer repair order history, owner’s manuals, factory dealer sales brochures and dealer advertising materials, OEM Mercedes-Benz Large Roofbox, Whispbar low-profile roof crossbars, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title. A total of only 153 E63 AMG wagons were reportedly delivered to the US during three years of production, with only 62 total examples produced in the 2008 model year. This specific wagon is one of only five total examples ever produced from 2007-09 in Pewter/Cubanite Metallic (723) over Cashmere/Amaretta (854) leather interior. To differentiate the E63 AMG from a standard W211, the wagon is dressed in AMG Aerodynamic bodywork that includes AMG-specific bumpers, side-skirts and AMG-specific badging on the rear tailgate and both front fenders. The wagon is further equipped with an AMG sport exhaust system with w/dual twin chrome exhaust outlets in the rear. Additional equipment on this example includes a glass sunroof w/tilt & One-touch open/close, cornering fog lights w/chrome bezels, headlamp washing system, and bi-xenon headlamps with active curve-light illumination. Paint condition is reported to be excellent with the car having recently undergone a multi-stage paint correction and AMMO Reflex Pro protective application on the painted surfaces. Silver 18″ AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels w/Titanium Gray painted spokes measure 18 x 8.5" in the front and 18 x 9" in the rear. All four tires wear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires measuring 245/40 in the front and 265/35 out back. The car is equipped with an Adaptive Damping System and a self-leveling Airmatic suspension which can be raised or lowered 2+ inches from inside the cabin. Receipts viewable in the gallery show that both front air struts were replaced approximately 1,000 miles ago and that the system operates as intended. The leak-free Airmatic suspension reportedly does not settle or drop during extended parking periods. The suspension can be further tuned to Sport 1 or Sport 2 settings which lowers the car between .6 and .8 inches while stiffening the suspension and steering for spirited driving. Braking is handled by an AMG high performance compound braking system that features 6-piston AMG calipers in the front and 4-piston AMG calipers in the rear. All four rotors are cross-drilled and measure 14.2” up front and 13” in the rear. The seller notes that the rear brake rotors, rear brake pads, and front brake pads were replaced at 82,000 miles. The cabin is upholstered in Cashmere/Amaretta (854) AMG Premium Nappa leather with matching Alcantara accents in the seat shoulders, optional Burl Wood trim on the dash, doors, shifter and center console, and a designo Alcantara headliner in matching cashmere. Interior amenities include AMG Entrance plates on the door sills, Keyless-Go, AMG 10-way power adjustable heated and active-ventilated front seats w/position memory, keyless entry with push-button start, split-folding second row seats, left & right rear door sun blinds, factory Bluetooth telephone, Bluetooth music streaming, 6-disc CD changer, Harmon Kardon Logic7 Digital Surround system, Sirius Satellite Radio, ipod integration kit w/Bluetooth streaming via the factory controls, COMAND w/navigation, Aluminum AMG performance pedals, heated screen washer system, heated rear glass, automatic/power-operated cargo cover, retractable cargo net/dog barrier, power rear liftgate, a rear-facing third-row bench seat and four-zone automatic climate control. The original AMG Cashmere carpeted floor mats as well as OEM all-weather rubber “Hexmats” are included with the sale. The multi-function AMG Performance steering wheel with dual aluminum shift paddles fronts factory AMG instrumentation including a racetimer, analog clock, a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and digital gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The dashboard houses the climate controls, an infotainment screen, a 6-disc CD changer, a pop-out storage cubby, and a lockable glove box. The digital odometer shows approximately 98k miles since new. The cargo area includes the through-loading feature with a split-folding second row bench that can be accessed via a power tailgate and contains a fold-down rear-facing bench seat with cup holders, automatic/power-operated cargo cover, and retractable cargo net/pet barrier. This example also includes a matching, OEM Mercedes-Benz Roofbox (w/two keys) and a set of rare, no-longer-manufactured "whispbar" low-profile roof crossbars specific to the W211 wagon. A set of pads for the crossbars are also included for those who wish to mount a kayak or other similar-such cargo to the roof of the AMG wagon. The 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated M156 V8 developed 507 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque when new. The hand built AMG engine is covered in an AMG-exclusive airbox showing the signature of the single-engine maker emblazoned on a plaque at the center of the airbox. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed 7G-Tronic AMG Speedshift automatic transmission w/manual mode. The transmission can be shifted manually via the shifter assembly in the console or the aluminum paddles on the AMG Performance steering wheel. Recent service includes new engine mounts, transmission mounts, and a new fuel pump assembly, housing and seal(s). In addition to paper service records, a dealer repair order history from Napleton Auto Werks is viewable in the gallery and shows the detail on every dealer service visit for the E63 from new to 2013. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, linear mileage updates, extensive dealer service history and lists registration history in Illinois, California, and Arizona. This example is now being offered with all factory books & literature, original dealer brochures and other print advertising materials, partial service records, a dealer repair order history, the original window sticker, OEM Mercedes-Benz Large Roof Box Carrier, low-profile crossbars, OEM all-weather rubber “Hex-Mats”, and a clean Montana title.
