Here is a really cool find. These 300M cars are becoming hard to find in nice condition with good history and miles, this car is a "Special" which is even more uncommon as they have very unique options. The "Special" gives you a sportier ground effects package with a unique front bumper cover and fog lamps. Xenon (H.I.D.) headlights are standard on this model as well as the 17" alloys and dual exhaust. The "Special" comes with an "Autostick" transmission as well. This particular car is loaded with absolutely EVERY option you could get including heated front seats, power glass moonroof, factory Navigation with premium audio and CD changer. Not only is it fully featured, it is very complete including all factory floor mats, cargo net, full sized spare, jack & tools, keys, remotes and all owners books. The car has never been modified or had any damage and aside from the window tint, tires and battery, it is all original. Please review the 90 full sized photos below including several of the undercarriage and suspension that show the car is completely corrosion free and has never been damaged.
The body of the car is nice and straight with no major dings, dents or scratches. You will notice that the front bumper cover looks like it is a bit mismatched color-wise, it looks different from different angles, the metallic finish on these cars fades and ages slightly different on the plastic pieces versus the metal fenders, doors, etc. therefore you see that effect which is accentuated in photos. Anyhow, aside from a few unnoticeable stone chips and a very few minor blemishes, the car is very nice looking and it actually gets a lot of compliments as not many look this clean anymore. The tires are newer with 90% tread life remaining, chrome alloys are nice including all center caps. Lights and lenses are all clean and intact, fully functional including the fog lamps. Glass is nice, it has a newer windshield, sides and rears are lightly tinted.
The interior is very clean and all leather is supple and soft showing minimal wear with no rips, tears or seam separation. Carpets are clean with no excessive wear or staining, headliner and visors are all in nice original condition as well. Door panels and console are excellent, dash is very nice with just one small hairline fracture on the passenger side that is not very noticeable, you can see it in the photos. All lighting and gauges are functional, stereo sounds good and the A/C is nice and cold.
Mechanically the car is healthy, engine is smooth and strong and has exhibited no overheating issues and no leaks. Transmission shifts nicely and the car goes down the freeway quite nicely. The front end feels like it has typical wear, it makes no noises from the suspension. Also worth mentioning, there are no warning lights on in the dash and you can reference that with the photo of the instrument cluster below with the car running.
So, what"s a super clean, hard to find, 100% rust free, low mile 300M Special worth?
