I know this vehicle well and have inspected it thoroughly. Please see my 2000+ positive feedbacks for assurance.
I bought this truck a year ago and have fiddled with and fixed several minor things. I had plans to convert it to an original W200 power wagon configuration but things have changed and I need to let it go. I have most of the stuff and would be willing to negotiate further if a buyer is interested. See the list at the end of this description.
THE GOOD : - Strong 383 2bbl engine with a smooth shifting 727 automatic. - new power steering hoses
- Front and back seats newly upholstered with marine grade vinyl - New Heater core, valve, rebuilt controls, cables good, fan switch good on both high and low. - Rebuilt drive line - Fresh dual exhaust system.
- extra clean front grill.
- Gen 4 ram wheels, 17”, need rubber soon. - Recently replaced taillight/backup/front turn sig/cab clearance lights - Recent shocks
- Original color was tan, which is cool IMO. - Clean glass - Doors open and close smoothly and solidly, no sag - Clean rockers, door jams and pillars - Dent free bed floor. One dent each side on wheel wells, both easy fixes if you even care.
- very clean tail gate, inside and out, latches barely worn - Gauges/lighting all working.
- Dash has some cracks on the top but is not mishapen.
- Wiring cleaned up in the engine compartment and under the dash.
- Front floor rust has been patched, look good, are solid, but i would not call them "restored". I have a pair of new Ex-line front floor pans I would negotiate on if a buyer is interested. Rear floors are rust free and the whole floor has been painted with black undercoating. I put a set of new generic floor mats just to have something there.

THE NOT SO GOOD:
- Original drum brakes work as they should, but that’s not good if you are used to modern brakes. Upgrades are available .
- Passenger side rear door slightly damaged, but opens, closes and latches solidly. (I have a rare clean replacement door I will negotiate for the purchase of)
- Passenger side of bed slightly damaged but repairable - Doors have rust spots in outside lower corners - Minor ding on top ridge of hood, easy repair - Front bumper slightly biffed - Heater control and radio dash mounting has been modified. Dash has been cut out behind the center panel i put there.
- Aftermarket stereo is not working (plug doesn’t match the aftermarket one in the harness. . I just filled the hole with one i had.
- CB is not hooked up, and i have no idea if it works or not. . just looks cool. no antenna. - Speaker holes have been cut into the front lower corner of the doors. - Doors close solidly and lock from the inside, but cannot be locked from the outside. They need some more fiddling with. They DO unlock from the outside.
- Rubber is less than half. .
- Needs door and window seals
- Headliner sagging a bit.
- No spare but the rear carrier underneath is there and serviceable
- seatbelts are tan, matching the old interior color. . they arent right for the apolstery. . Needs some black ones.
This truck was driven to Arizona from California within the last two years according to the Dodge nut I got it from… It starts and runs great, goes 80 miles an hour out on the road, stops drum brake “fine”. It was driven to Tucson a bit more than a year ago by the guy I bought it from last spring. This truck was minded by two previous Dodge truck enthusiasts and has been looked after and barely driven by me. Although I would guarantee a blast around town, I suggest trailering it any distance.
- Although not included in this auction, I also have collected nearly everything to convert this pickup into a 4 speed W200 Power Wagon 4x4. After the auction I’m willing to negotiate on this stuff. I know a lot of people would like to just put this body on a new skool chassis with a Cummins, but I just didn’t have the heart to cannibalize such a clean example. . AND I like big blocks. In my mind this truck is just too clean and well functioning to sacrifice. Others will differ in opinion. Here is a near complete list of everything I have: - Dana 44 4.10 open knuckle front axel w/8 lug locking disc brake hubs, - GM corporate rear axel with matching gears. - NP445 true 4-speed transmission (not granny gear, although i have one of those too) - NP205 transfer case - Clutch - flywheel - pressure plate, - transfer case cross member - jack shaft - front drive shaft - tranfer case shifter sticks/linkages - trans hump w/hole - t-case shift boot - rear drive shaft I have may work, else will need to be custom fit.
