I am proudly offering this absolutely gorgeous 2002 Cadillac Eldorado Collector Series from my personal collection. I have had this beauty for a little over a year and it has brought me much joy to have and occasionally drive. Had I not found my "holy grail" 1LE "92 Camaro Z28 last month, this car would not be leaving me. This car was impeccably clean when I got it, it was a single family owned, garage kept car out of the San Francisco Bay area in California therefore it has ZERO corrosion. From there I painstakingly and carefully detailed every square inch of this car from inside-out, top-to-bottom and even further. Now, I"m not like the "next guy, or gal" who says they have the "nicest one around", I have taken 220+ high definition photographs below from every possible angle (and some "impossible" ones too) to show that it truly is nearly spotless. These photos include a multitude of shots of the suspension, undercarriage, door jambs, trunk, under the hood, and a full spread of both the exterior and interior. On the underside, you will see that the car still retains the original tags and markings from the assembly line and one more thing that I have never seen before, the original paper tag on the catalytic converter. . amazing, try and find that ever again. This car has low mileage with 68k original miles but I would and will put it up against Eldorado of this era on the planet, there are none cleaner. I have sold about a half dozen of these Collector Series cars over the last 3 or 4 years including a 41k mile car and a 29k mile car. .this one is nicer and is being offered for less money than I received for those cars. If you are even remotely interested in owning a collector grade, final year Eldorado, do not let this one slip by you. The car had a $50k + MSRP, I have attached a copy of the window sticker and dealer addendum below along with the Autocheck that shows no issues or accidents (notice it scores "off the scale"). The car is very complete with all owners books, floor mats, cargo net, spare tire that has never been on the ground, jack/tools, THREE sets of keys including the original "Gold Keys", and proper 1&2 original remotes with driver memory. These cars had three options, Alpine White or Aztek Red Homelink Garage Door Opener and a moonroof. This car is obviously White (unique to the 02 Collector Series, not available on any other Eldorado) and has the Homelink with the moonroof which makes it a "fully optioned car". Please take the time to review the photos and read my description.
I have spent a lot of time photographing every part of the exterior of the car, top and bottom, the body is super straight with no major dings, dents or scratches. There is a small blemish under the driver"s fog lamp, a pebble sized imperfection on the bottom rear of the drivers door (touched up), a scuff on the rear left wheel lip opening down low (touched up) and a some light stone chipping on the sides of the rear bumper cover down low which hardly even visible in the close up photos of those areas. The paint is shiny with no fade. A"l lights and lenses are excellent and fully functional including the fog-lamps. Glass is in very nice shape, nice and clear with a light film on the rear three windows which can easily be removed if competing in original-class car shows, it"s the only thing aside from the tires, windshield and battery that are not stock. Trim and emblems are excellent with no apparent aging or weathering. Tires are a matching set of Cooper Touring Radials and are in decent shape showing approximately 60% tread life remaining. Alloys are very nice, very nice chrome with no "peeling" on the backside of the wheels. One wheel has a slight 1" scuff in the very outside of the rim, they are as nice as you will find and all center caps are present (they are excellent with all tabs and retainer rings behind them). The detailed calipers and rotors make the wheels really "pop".
The interior is in remarkable original condition. There are no tobacco, pet or musty odors inside. I don"t dare say it smells "new" still but it retains that refreshing, signature Cadillac leather smell inside. All leather is supple and soft, all passenger seating is just plain excellent (rears appear unused) and only the driver"s seat shows minimal wear. By saying that, the seat in in amazing original shape showing less than what I would expect for 50k miles plus of service. It is in better condition than the two lower mile cars I have previously sold and I wanted to leave it in it"s nice, honest condition even though a quick "scrub and dye" would give it a new appearance in photos. Woodgrain appliques are excellent, there is a 1/4" "hairline" fracture on the corners surrounding the "Collector Series" plaque on the passenger side, 99% of these exhibit that characteristic, it"s just age.
Mechanically the car is as good as it looks. Engine is strong, smooth and rockets this Sport Coupe down the freeway. It has exhibited no overheating or leaks and has no "Warning" or "Service" lights on in the dash (reference the photo of the instrument cluster with car running). Transmission shifts properly and the car is a real pleasure to drive and be seen in, a conversation piece for sure. The A/C blows cold, all power windows, seats, locks, keyless entry (third remote may need a battery and/or programming, the original 1&2 functional), power moonroof and BOSE audio system are in good working order. Even the power antenna and "soft close" feature on the trunk lid are fully operational.
So, what"s a car with this pedigree worth? Well, you won"t find many of these in this condition to compare to. There are none I have seen that have a spotless history, 100% corrosion free from the kindest climate on earth, fully optioned, rare "numbered" Collector Series, non smoker car with all keys, books, mats and a copy of the window sticker. I am asking a very fair (borderline too cheap) asking price of just $10,950 for a car that likely crests $20k at collector car auctions like Mecum or Barrett when that whole industry fires up again. I have activated the "Best Offer" feature and I will work with serious collectors or enthusiasts that are in the market for something just a bit better than everything else available. I am happy to assist with transport. Please call me at (602)315-4055 with any questions. Thank you for looking at my amazing Collector Series Eldorado.
