Vehicle description
A customized 1975 Argosy Airstream Trailer, nicknamed "Ruby". The cabin is approx. 24" and bumper to tongue is approx. 27". We bought the trailer already renovated several years ago but due to health problem have not been able to enjoy it as much as we had planned. We have gone on several beach trips with it and it worked well. The stove has been removed and we use a stovetop burner as well as a microwave (new), please see pictures. The refrigerator is new and the air conditioner works well, but there is no furnace. The brakes have been replaced, the bearings repacked and the tires are fairly new but have been sitting a couple of years. The plumbing and water heater are in good working condition. We have added a new ZipDee awning as well a radio/cd player in the front storage panel, there are speakers in the front and back of the trailer plus an exterior cable connection. There is storage above and below each bed (a couple of latches need to be replaced) as well as a hang up closet in the bathroom. The front table converts to a bed and there is storage under each seat. There is a dent on the top near the front, please see pictures. The trailer is need of a new paint job, it is peeling and pitted, please see pictures. We currently use a folding wooden box for stairs, the steel ones need to be repaired. We also purchased a new Fan-tastic roof exhaust fan which has never been installed but included with the trailer. Please remember this is a vintage trailer, not new and sold as is.
