51 Studebaker Land Racer . This is a really unique car and I would not be selling it if I didn’t have to. My health is dictating this sale. I built this car to land race as well as a Something I could drive to shows or cruise with. The car has only 700 miles since the engine and transmission. Please serious inquiries only . The was completed to its current state in November 2018 just in time to take it to El Mirage for the SCTA final event for 2018. The following is a list of some of the modifications done. Engine new Blueprint Engine 400 stroker long block. Forged crank rods and pistons Aluminum heads streetable cam with roller rockers. Block is new forged in USA. Engine dyno sheet sheet available 515 hp and 486 at 5300 rpmon torque with a single 850 carb. The intake and carb setup is all edelbrock. Intake is super victor with direct port nitrous system also had edelbrock stage controller. It is currently setup to shoot 200hp. This box can also change the timing as well as bring in the nitrous in delay steps. Ignition is MSD 6 programable dist and coil are MSD. Porcelain plug boot Taylor wires. Block hugger ceramic coated headers. New dynamax exhaust custom bent with side dump electric cut outs. Trans is ATI 700T4 rated for 650hp 2600 stall converter Converted front suspension to mustang II power rack kit from Heidts coil over adjustable front shocks disk brakes new flaming river steering column tilt with quick disconnect wheel. Rear suspension is narrowed ford 9 inch moser axels 2 1/2 X11 drum brakes axel ratio is 3:21 springs are leaf with a watts link sway bar with 20” traction bars. 16 gallon fuel cell in trunk edelbrock fuel pump in line two fuel filters. Full roll cage with front connectors and driver surround cage required by Scta. Safety equipment includes Stroud fire suppression both for driver and engine compartment, full door window net. Simpson belts and harness dated 2018 and parachute. Many more new parts and once again only 700 miles since build. Have many more pictures I can email if your interested.
